Ah, April. The month when the weather can’t decide between winter and summer, and people can't decide if they’re joking or serious. It’s the perfect season for pranks, plot twists... and, of course, escape rooms.
Here at Escape de Facto, we like to think of April as the unofficial “National Month of Mischief” — and as experts in mystery, puzzles, and mild psychological warfare (all in good fun!), we fully support it.
Why April Is the Best Time to Lock Your Friends in a Room
Let’s be honest — nothing says "I care about you" like trapping your friends in a creepy room full of mysterious artifacts, glowing red buttons, and unsettling whispers. It’s team bonding at its finest. You’ll laugh. You’ll scream. You’ll accuse Dave of stealing the key again even though he clearly just wanted to hold it.
Escape rooms and April go together like...
Peanut butter and jelly
Sherlock and Watson
You and the incorrect code you swore was “definitely right this time”
5 Signs You’re the April Fools MVP of Your Escape Team:
You pretend to find the final clue 20 minutes early just to see everyone panic.
You talk to the actor in the room like it’s a live episode of CSI.
You hide the UV flashlight and claim it was “never there to begin with.”
You shout “I got it!” every time you touch literally anything.
You insist on reading clues in a dramatic Shakespearean voice, even when time is running out.
Special April Treat at Escape de Facto:
This month, we’re offering our "Fools Rush In" promotion — perfect for tricksters, puzzle-lovers, and those just looking for a good time that doesn’t involve taxes or yard work.
👀 Get one extra clue if you book a room and show up in a ridiculous costume.
🐰 Another extra if you come dressed as an Easter Bunny trying to escape the mall.
📅 Valid through April 30, unless we change the rules mid-month (just kidding… or are we?).
